PRODUCT QUESTIONS:

Where are your items made?

All items are made by either the Grace by Shan team in Florida or by other female owned small businesses throughout the US. 

How long will it take for my order to arrive? 

Current processing times are posted at the top of the website. Please keep in mind, that once an item is shipped through your chosen shipping, we are unable to control any delays or lost packages. We do know how exciting it is so we try to get orders out as soon as possible. If you have purchased a custom sleeve or a preorder product, please check the product's description for their processing time.

Due to COVID-19, all major carriers are having delays so we are not able to guarantee the delivery time. USPS is no longer required to scan packages at the time they receive them. This is leading to lost packages and delayed tracking updates. We are not responsible for this, but are happy to help at info@gracebyshan.com

What size sleeve should I get? 

Our book sleeves fit one average hardback book (think Book of the Month sized books) or one - three paperbacks. If you’d like your sleeve to fit larger books, please leave a note at checkout in the notes section sharing what book or how many pages it is and we will try our best to make one large enough, although it is not guaranteed. If you’d like a Kindle Sleeve, please keep in mind that these are NOT for fire tablets, iPads, or anything larger than a smaller ereader. Kindle Sleeves fit the Amazon Fire snuggly and the Kindle Paperwhite with extra room at the top. If you have a Kindle Oasis, a different Kindle, or if you have a case on your kindle please leave a note at checkout specifying which one and the dimensions of it. Please make sure you read all of the product description to ensure you're happy with your order. 

What does handmade entail?

When an item says handmade, that means it is made with love and is going to be unique! No handmade items will be exactly alike. There may be some imperfections, but that is part of what makes them unique.

Sleeve Care Instructions

All sleeves are able to be machine washed with cold water and then air dried.

Return Policy

We know that mistakes happen on both our end and the mail carriers. If you ever have any concerns about your order, please send us an email at info@gracebyshan.com within 7 days of delivery. Returns must be delivered back to Grace by Shan within in 30 days of the items delivery to you. We are happy to work and try to make things right. However, sometimes things are out of our control. We will try our best to make things right as we are all human. 

If you're looking to return an order, we ask that you pay for return shipping. If you'd like to exchange your items for a different size/pattern, we ask that you purchase shipping for the return as well as for shipping your new item(s). 

Please note that if items are lost or damaged during mailing, we are not responsible. However, please still let us know and we will try our best to fix it.

 

SHIPPING QUESTIONS:

How much do you charge for shipping?

We charge shipping fees based on weight, destination of the package, and your chosen carrier. You can simply add the items and calculate the shipping fee in your shopping cart. 

Customs & fees for international package

International orders are subject to the receiving country's import fees, duty, taxes and/or brokerage fees. These funds are not paid to GRACE BY SHAN, CO. nor are they set by GRACE BY SHAN, CO. Rather they are paid to and set by your home country's government as per import/export regulations and charged by your local postal carrier. Funds are due upon receipt in accordance with your local import and postal regulations.

How do I track my order?

You will get an email once your order ships with all tracking information. 

What if my order has a preorder?

If you ordered multiple items and one of them is a preorder, all items will ship together once the preorder is ready for shipment. 

What to do if my package is lost during delivery?

LOST ITEMS

*Once items are shipped via your chosen shipping method, we are no longer responsible for your order. However, we do try to help as best as we can*

We understand that sometimes things can get lost along the way.

If your package was marked as delivered by the mail carrier, but you have not received it, please make sure to double check that you have input the correct address in your initial order. If there is an error, your order is most likely on its way to us and we will ship it right back out to your correct address!

If your address and information are correct, please check with your local post office and let us know of the situation, so we can assist as best as we can. We ask that you open an investigation with your mail carrier so they can look for the package, as we are unable to. If they're unable to find the package, please let us know and we will work to help send you the items that you ordered based on what we still have in stock. 

 

STOLEN ITEMS 

If your package was stolen, please file a mail theft claim with USPS, as well as a complaint with your local police station. Additionally, please let us know so we can assist as best as we can.

FAILED DELIVERY

If your order is returned to us due to failed delivery, please email us at info@gracebyshan.com so we can get the correct address for you and prepare to reship. Please note that we are not responsible for the second shipping fee if the order was returned due to an error on the customer’s part. 

INCORRECT ADDRESS

As it is the buyer’s responsibility to provide the correct address when placing an order, it is also our responsibility to ship to the address provided to us. Please make sure to input the correct shipping address when placing your order.

If you notify us about the incorrect address before your order has been fulfilled, we will try our best to correct it for you. Please understand it is difficult to guarantee we will be able to modify your order so please email us ASAP after you notice the wrong address was provided.

Can I cancel my order?

To cancel an order, you must let us know within 24 hours of when the order was placed. We will do our best to cancel any orders after this period but once production begins we can no longer cancel the order.

There is a defect in my order, what should I do?

In the rare event that an order is shipped with a defect, we will offer a free replacement if the defect is reported within 7 days of receiving your order. Please email us at info@gracebyshan.com and we will help make this right ASAP. 

 

Other FAQs

I have a coupon. How do I apply it?

When it is time to check out, you can apply your coupon in the check out section or during the checkout process. Please keep in mind that coupons can not be used with any other coupons or promotions.  

How do I sign up for the rewards program? How does it work?

You can sign up for the Grace by Shan rewards program by clicking the pink gift box on the bottom right of the website. The program gives you two ways to earn “bookish bucks” to redeem on future Grace by Shan purchases. 

  1. Earn points with every purchase. After you reach 100 points, you will receive $10 off coupon and a $20 off coupon when you reach 200 points.
  2. Share your referral link and for each referral, you both will receive a $5 off coupon.
